Hello, I'm Nicolas Hirigoyen, a professional photographer based in Tahiti. My creative hub is nestled in Faa’a, where visual magic comes to life. Photography has been my passion since childhood, leading me to pursue my secondary studies at the School of Photography of Arts and Media in Toulouse, ETPA.

I've called Polynesia home for over two decades. Bringing my sensitivity and expertise to your sessions, I aim to make each one uniquely yours. Crafting tailor-made projects that align with your desires is something I take pride in. My photo sessions are all about capturing your essence with a natural and poetic touch.

I draw inspiration from iconic photographers like Jean-Loup Sieff, Helmut Newton, Peter Lindbergh, Ralph Gibson—masters of the art of bodies and black and white. In 2018, I exhibited my artistic work at the Maison de la Culture de Papeete, and in 2019, 2021, and 2022, I participated in collective exhibitions showcasing the talents of Polynesian photographers.

Operating mainly in natural light, my foundational training in the early days of digital photography has allowed me to master the subtle art of working with light, which I believe is the essence of a photographer. My personal work and art prints are available for purchase on my website.

  Whether you prefer a coffee, a video call, a phone chat, or Instagram DMs, I’m always available to discuss details. I want you to feel comfortable and excited about your destination wedding photography experience in French Polynesia.

• The Photo Shoot On the big day, we’ll focus on capturing your most authentic moments. Whether it’s a wedding elopement or a honeymoon session, we’ll ensure it’s relaxed, fun, and full of genuine emotion.

• Photo Selection & Post-Processing
  After the shoot, I’ll carefully select the best images, professionally edit them to enhance their natural beauty, and provide them in high-definition digital format through a private gallery.

  All images come with full printing rights, so you can share and print your memories as you wish.

WEDDING DESTINATION & ELOPEMENT

Booking Your Session

To confirm your wedding destination or elopement session, a minimum deposit of 30% is required to secure your shoot date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the session or within 3 days via bank transfer before the photos are delivered. If you need to cancel and cannot reschedule, I’ll fully reimburse the deposit.

What Happens Next?

Once your booking is confirmed and your deposit is paid, it's time to prepare for the session. Here’s the next step:

• Outfit Planning: I’ll send you a welcome guide with tips on how to plan your wardrobe, whether you’re having a honeymoon photoshoot in Moorea or a family photography session in Bora Bora.

• Session Day: You’ll receive a text the day before to confirm everything is set. On the day, I’ll be flexible — if you need extra time for hair, makeup, or getting the kids ready, we’ll make it work. My goal is to respect your pace and ensure a smooth, stress-free session.

After your session...

Once your final payment is made, I’ll send you a photo preview because I know you’re eager to see your images!

You’ll receive all the edited photos from your session, and you won’t have to make any tough choices — all images belong to you.

I keep your final files for 3 months, but I highly recommend you download and save your images to your USB key or external hard drive as soon as possible to keep them safe.
